The objective is to demonstrate how Ministry of Health requested TLC to demonstrate how to use the Point System to deal away with the discrepancies in reporting of the total number of people who are fully vaccinated with Covid-19 vaccine without double counting.
This is the proposed method that uses Points in determining whether someone has been partially vaccinated, fully vaccinated as well as boosted.
This logic has been derived from the fact that some vaccines need one dosage while others need two dosages for someone to be considered fully vaccinated. Any dose after the status of fully vaccinated is considered a booster dose.
The picture below illustrate how points are allocated to each vaccine based on dosage.
Partially Vaccinated
Astrazeneca = 1 Point
Pfizer = 1 Point
Moderna = 1 Point
Fully Vaccinated
J&J = 2 Points
Astrazeneca + Astrazeneca = 2 Points
Pfizer + Pfizer = 2 Points
Pfizer + Astrazeneca or Astrazeneca + Pfizer = 2 Points
βModerna + Moderna = 2 Points
Boosted
Astrazeneca + Astrazeneca + Astrazeneca = 3 Points
Astrazeneca + Astrazeneca + Pfizer = 3 Points
Pfizer + Pfizer + Pfizer = 3 Points
Pfizer + Pfizer + Astrazeneca = 3 Points
J&J + Astrazeneca or Astrazeneca + J&J = 3 Points
J&J + Pfizer or Pfizer + J&J = 3 Points
Astrazeneca + Astrazeneca + J&J = 4 Points
Pfizer + Pfizer + J&J = 4 Points
Moderna + Moderna + Moderna = 3 Points
J&J + J&J = 4 Points
