Check-in a Visitor

Purpose: To check-in a visitor into a meeting.

Scenario: You have a scheduled meeting that includes a visitor as one of the attendees. To record their attendance, you can use the check-in feature, which allows you to check in visitors for scheduled meetings.

Follow these steps to check-in a visitor into a meeting:

1. Log in to the Meetings app.

2. Before you can check in a visitor to a meeting, there must be a scheduled meeting in place, and the visitor must be listed as an attendee.

3. Click on ‘Visitor Check-In’ to view scheduled meetings so you can sign-in to a scheduled meeting.

4. In the Visitor Check-In page, click on the name of the visitor you want to check-in.

5. You can search for the visitor using the search bar or select form the list.

6. Click on the visitor.

7. The Scheduled Meetings page displays meetings the visitor is assigned to. If the visitor is not an attendee of any scheduled meetings, a message will appear: "No meetings found". Please make sure the visitor is registered as an attendee to a valid meeting

8. If you get this message, create a new meeting and add the visitor as an attendee and they will show up on this page.

9. After creating a new meeting and adding the visitor as an attendee, you will see the visitor’s meeting in the Scheduled Meetings page.

10. Click on the meeting to view details.

11. Click the ‘Check-In Visitor’ button to check the visitor in and save.

12. The visitor has successfully been checked in.
