Before you start - Before you can check in or register a patient on ESWAVAX, you will need the following:
1. A device that has a browser to connect to the internet (Google Chrome, Safari)
2. Connection to internet via Wi-Fi or mobile data
2. Active ESWAVAX credentials for signing in
3. Be in an active vaccination site (Had submitted an opening and arrival report)
Step 1 - Find patient
The first step after you have Submitted an opening report is to search and see if the patient exist in the system. This applies to first time and returning patients. Select "find patient". Use either of the following to search for the patient:
EVAX ID: If they already have an existing one from a previous registration
PIN: National ID PIN number
Phone: Their active cellphone number
Birthday: This should be their date of birth
If you find the patient from your search, go to Step 2. If you do not find the patient, proceed to Step 3
Step 2 - Check in patient
Select the patient from your search results to proceed with check in. Confirm check in by pressing "yes". Fill out all the required information from each tab that has a warning triangle until they all have green checks.
Step 3 - Expand search
If you do not find the patient, you can expand your search to use more search criteria. Fill out all the required information and the "search" button will turn red then press it. If you find the patient from the expanded search, you can go back to Step 2.
Step 4 - Register a new patient
If you still do not find the patient from the expanded search, press "add manually" to register as a new patient. Fill out all the required information and press "register new patient", confirm adding new patient to the system by pressing "yes, register". Once patient is registered, you can then fill out all the required information from each tab that has a warning triangle until they all have green checks.
Next step
Once you have successfully registered your patient, you will now be able to find him/her in the system when you search.
