Purpose: To rebatch medication or vaccines that are manipulated for use.
Scenario: When a vaccine has been manipulated for use by health care providers, it is also given a beyond-use date (BUD), which reflects the latest date/time the manipulated item can be used. With rebatching, it is given a new batch, a new batch number and expiry date.
Follow the steps to see how to rebatch:
1. Log in to Supply Chain,
2. Click the hamburger menu and select 'Rebatch'.
3. Click the '+' icon to start the batching process.
4. Select the bin with the items to batch.
5. Select the items to batch and click 'Add item'.
6. Click the pencil icon to begin the rebatching process.
7. Select the local batch number if it already exists. If it does not, click the Add button to create a new batch number and enter the expiry date. Then, input the quantity to be converted to the local batch and click Save.
9. Attach a photo and submit.
