Bin Count

Regular bin counting helps maintain accurate inventory records by identifying discrepancies between the physical count and the recorded inventory levels.

  • Bin - This is a physical location of an item. It can be a shelf, a building or a person.

Follow the steps to bin count items:

  1. Use the following link to log into Luvelo SupplyChain app using your credentials. app.luvelo.org/SupplyChain/

  2. From the menu displayed click on "Bin Count".

  3. Click on the plus icon on the top-right corner of the screen to perform a new bin count.

  4. Click on the 'Select Bin' option to select the bin the count is being performed for.

  5. Click on the 'search bin by name' field to search by name or click the QR code icon to scan the bin's QR code in order to find the bin you are looking for and then click on it.

  6. Click on items, to start the count, it will then take you to a new screen with the items that are expected to be in that bin

    .

  7. Click in the 'Counted' field to enter the quantity of the items that you have counted.

  8. Click on the back icon on the top left corner of the screen after completing the bin count.

  9. Click on the 'Photos' option to take a picture of the bin after the count has been completed.

  10. Click on the 'Take Photo' button to access the device camera and then take a picture of the bin

  11. Click the back icon at the top left corner of your screen after the photo has been uploaded and you can see it on the screen.

  12. Click the 'Submit' button at the bottom of your screen to submit you completed bin count

  13. Hooray you have successfully performed a bin count.
