Purpose: To ensure that important shifts information is consistently shared with the right teams or departments without requiring manual posting each time.
Accessing the App
Required Role: ScheduleAndAssignments
Log in to Luvelo Shifts by visiting app.luvelo.org/shifts in your web browser.
Creating shifts broadcast
Click on 'Other' and select Broadcasts.
Click on the 'New Broadcast' button to add a new Broadcast.
Fill in the required fields:
Broadcast name: A unique title used to identify the broadcast (e.g., Daily Shift Reminder or Weekly Report Summary).
Broadcast time: Specifies the exact time the broadcast message will be automatically sent or posted.
Slack channel: Indicates the Slack channel where the broadcast message will be sent (e.g., #operations, #announcements).
Message header: The subject line or introductory text that appears at the top of the broadcast message to give recipients context about its content or purpose.
Click on the 'Save' button at the bottom of the popup.
Now that you have created the Broadcast Template, click on the broadcast you have just created to add the shifts which you want to broadcast to the specified slack group.
Click on the 'Add Shift' button.
Select the different shifts you want to broadcast by clicking on their checkboxes.
Click on the 'Save' button at the bottom of the form to save your broadcast.
