Purpose: To make it easy to schedule for an event by using templates that come with all the required shifts and positions for that event.
Key terms:
Event template - is a template which has all the shifts for a particular event. Event templates are applied to scheduled events so that shifts for those particular events can auto populate when you sync events in assignments.

Follow the step to create the Event Template:
After logging in to Shifts select the site. Click here to see how to do so.
Click on 'Other > Templates'. Here you can also view or search other templates that were made before.
Click on 'New Template'.
Type in the Event Shift Template Name,
On Shift Template Type, choose 'Event',
and select the Mechanism of the event and click 'Save'.
Click on 'Edit Template Group' to add the groups.
Click '+ Group' to add the time shifts for the group. If the even has 2 or more groups, you can click 'Add Group' then add time shifts and save.
To add shifts, click on 'New Shift'.
Select the Shift Position, Shift Type, Group Number and save.
After saving the shift will be shown on the list.
