Create Task Folders and Task Lists

Purpose: To organize tasks and task lists in folders. Each folder has task lists that fall is the same category.

Scenario: We would like to create an ICT folder containing various task lists, such as ICT Help Ticket and ICT SOPs. Within these task lists, you'll find individual files or tasks assigned to the team.

Role Required: ModifyFolderList.

If you have permission to create new task lists and folders, you can easily create your task lists and folders in Luvelo Tasks.

Follow the steps to create folders:

  1. Log in to the Tasks application. Click here to see how to log in.

  2. In order to create a new folder, click on 'Settings' and click 'New Folder'.

  3. Type the name of the folder and click 'Create' to save.

  4. To locate the folder that you have created, click 'Task Lists' on the bottom menu, then click the folder icon. You can now select the folder that you have created.

Follow these steps to create Task Lists:

  1. In order to create the Tasks List, click 'Settings' and then click 'New Task List'.

  2. Enter Task List Details and Click 'Create'.

    1. Task List Name - Name of task list

    2. Task Folder - Folder where the task list will be stored

    3. Task Template - If a template is selected all tasks in that task list will have a certain format.

    4. Task Type - there are 2 types of tasks. Standard task allows you to assign the task to someone and the have the notes and comment areas where the team can converse. An SOP type has an SOP format that can be exported as a pdf.

  3. To find your task list, go to step #4. The task list will be shown under that folder.
