Purpose: Documenting patient discharge information helps you to know when the patient was discharged and also reasons why the patient was discharged.
Scenario: A patient has been admitted and has fully recovered and now he/she is due for discharge.

Follow the steps for recording patient discharge:
Log in EHR app. Click here to see how to log in.
Before you start anything you need to do a Full Sync so that all records are updated. Click here to see how to perform a full synch.
After completing the sync, click on 'All Admissions'.
You can use the search bar to search for the preferred patient or scroll down till you find the name. After finding the patient, click on the name.
Click on 'Discharge'.
Click the pencil icon next to Discharge plan in order to enter the reason for the discharge.
Click the pencil icon next to Discharge details in order to enter the outcome, date and time of the discharge and when to resume work.
Click on 'Dispense Meds' in order to set the medication the person is supposed to take as he goes.
Click on 'Schedule Visit' in order to set the date when the person is supposed to come back for medical check up.
If you click on 'Submit Discharge' it sends a slack message to the person who is set to approve discharges to approve.
