Purpose: IV site checkups are performed to ensure that the IV line is properly inserted and secure, and to prevent complications such as infection or infiltration.
Scenario: You have a patient with an IV inserted on their left ankle under your care and you have to perform an IV site check once every day. How then do you perform this IV site check on this patient.

Follow these steps to perform an IV site check:
Click on All Admissions.
Search for your patient using either their Name or EVAX ID and click on their name.
Click on IV's.
On your left is a list of all the IV sites on that Patient, click on the one you are looking for.
Click on the '+ IV Site Check' button located on your right.
Enter your observations and attach any pictures if needed.
Click on the 'Save' button at the bottom of the form.
