Purpose: This article will show you how to create a new lab profile using the Lab Application on Luvelo.
Scenario: You are a lab tech. You have been asked to create a new lab test profile for patients who are at risk of developing heart disease. You will need to select the appropriate tests to include in the profile. You will also need to create a name for the profile.

First you have to log into the Lab Application on Luvelo. Click here to see how.
Click on Profiles.
Click on the 'New Profile' button to create a new profile and a form will appear.
Enter the name of the profile you are creating in the text field labeled 'Name'.
Enter the profiles display name in the appropriate text field labeled 'Display Name'.
Select the Lab Category for this Profile from the dropdown menu.
Select the Lab Order Code from the dropdown menu, use the 'Search Lab Order Code' search bar to find what you are looking for quickly.
If your Profile is active click on the checkbox labeled 'is Active' else uncheck this option.
Click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the screen to make sure your new profile is saved into the database.
Scroll through the list of Profiles in the Table and look for the one that you just added and click on it.
Click on the 'Select Lab Test' dropdown to select tests you want to be in the profile you have just created.
Click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the form to save your profile of tests.
