Add Network Printer

Purpose: To print labels from Outpatient and Inpatient application. Examples of labels to print are lab order samples and wristbands.

What you need:

  • Zebra Printer- make sure the printer is connected to the same network as the device.

  • IOGear - If the printer does not have a wireless network adapter, use an IOGear for network connectivity.

Follow the steps to connect device to printer.

  1. Log in Outpatient application.

  2. Click the hamburger menu.

  3. Click 'Printers'.

  4. Click 'Add Printer' button.

  5. Add the IP address and name of the printer. If you are not aware of the printer IP address, ask the network administrator to help you get it.
    Save the configurations.

  6. Select the printer and perform a Test print to confirm it the connection was successful.
