Purpose: In the realm of healthcare, particularly in the management of chronic conditions such as HIV/AIDS, ensuring patients adhere to their ART is crucial. Missed ART refills or appointments can lead to significant health setbacks, including viral resistance, disease progression, and increased transmission risk. Therefore, creating and documenting cases where users have missed their ART refills or appointments serves several vital purposes.

Follow the steps on how to create a case.
Log in Outpatient application then you access a patient file.
On the patient file click 'Surgery' tab.
Select the 'Cases' tab.
Click '+ Case' to start adding details. Save details once you are done.
Date Opened - Enter the date when the case was open.
Date Closed - Enter date when the case was closed.
Case Status - Select the status of the case.
Case Type - Select the case type.
Next Follow-Up - Enter the date when next follow-up will be due.
Case Manager - Select case manager. This is the focal person who deals with the selected case.
Back Ground - Enter information pertaining the case type. For example if it is a Missed ART Visit case type, write the reason why the person missed the visit.
Treatment Plan - Write the steps to be taken there after to ensure patient receives good healthcare.
Click 'Notes' tab to add notes pertaining to that particular case.
