Scenario: When assets are not in use for various reasons such as newly acquired items, they might not require maintenance. This article will show you how to configure storage bins so that these assets won’t appear in the maintenance application as due for service.
Follow these steps to achieve this:
Log in to the Supply Chain application.
Click the hamburger menu to access bins.
To edit an existing bin, search for it and open its details. To create a new bin, click the plus (+) icon at the top right of the screen.
Enter all the required bin details. Be sure to set the bin type to 'Storage' as this ensures assets in the bin won’t appear as due for maintenance.
Save bin details after making all necessary changes.
