Create/ Configure SMS Campaigns

This article will show you how to configure SMS campaigns

Scenario 1: Patient has had a surgery procedure and you want to send SMS messages after some days encouraging them to take their medication properly or remind them to apply wound dressing properly.

Step 1 - Create Campaign

  1. Log in to the Communications application.

  2. On the menu, click 'Campaigns'.

  3. To add a new campaign, click the 'New Campaign' button.

  4. Enter the name of the campaign, check 'Is Active', and save.

  5. Once the campaign is saved, click the 'Add Communication' button.

  6. Enter the communication details:

    1. Name: Enter the name of the communication.

    2. Days in Schedule: Enter the number of days after scheduling for the SMS to be sent.

    3. Language: Select the preferred language.

    4. Type: Choose the campaign type (SMS or email).

    5. Message: Write the message to be sent to the client, then save.

  7. You can see all campaign communications showing on the campaigns.

  8. The scheduled campaign will appear in the list of Active Schedules.


Step 2 - Configure Medical Campaigns

  1. Log in to the Medical Configurations app.

  2. On the menu, click 'Alerts', then 'Medical Campaigns'.

  3. Click 'New Medical Campaign'.

  4. Edit the Medical Campaign:

    1. Select the medical trigger type. For example, to send an SMS reminding a patient to come for a check-up after being discharged, the trigger would be the patient’s discharge.

    2. Select the campaign you have created in the Communications application and save.

Once everything is configured, clients/patients will receive SMS messages on the specified days.
