Steps on how to add categories in Luvelo Point of Sale

Purpose: To improve your product management and sales process. By creating categories, you can organize your products into groups like "Apparel," "Electronics," or "Books," which helps both you and your customers find what you're looking for faster.

Accessing the App

Required Role:

  1. Log in to Luvelo POS using the mobile app or by visiting app.luvelo.org/pos in your web browser.

Adding a New Category

  1. From the home screen, click Categories.

  2. You will see a list of existing categories if any. To add a new category, click + on the top right corner.

  3. Enter category name, set status as active and save.

Edit or Delete an Existing Category

  1. From the home screen, click Categories.

  2. You will then see a list of existing categories. Click on the category name you want to edit.

  3. The category details screen will appear. From here, you can edit the category name and click Save to update it, or you can click Delete to remove the category entirely.
