How to Add Payment Methods

Steps on how to add payment methods in Luvelo Point of Sale

Purpose: To enable your business to accept and accurately track various forms of payment from customers.

Accessing the App

Required Role: Manage Products

  1. Log in to Luvelo POS using the mobile app or by visiting app.luvelo.org/pos in your web browser.

Adding Payment Method(s)

  1. From the home screen, click Payment Methods.

  2. You will see a list of existing payment methods, if any. o add a new one, click the + on the top right corner.

  3. Enter payment method details and save.

    • Name - The descriptive title you'll use to identify the payment method in the system.

    • Type - The category of the payment method. This could be something like "Cash," "Card," or "Deduction."

    • Active - A status indicator (usually a simple on/off toggle) that determines whether this payment method is currently available for use.

Edit or Delete Existing Payment Method

  1. Click on the payment method name you want to edit.

  2. Edit the payment method and click Save to update it, or you can click delete to remove the payment method entirely.
