Purpose: To extend shift tracking functionality by allowing the creation of user-defined variables that capture custom data relevant to payroll, scheduling, or operational requirements.
Accessing the App
Application Role Required: Shift Configurations Admin
Using your computer browser, Log in at app.luvelo.org/shifts.
Adding custom variables
Click on 'Other' and select 'Settings' and a new window will open.
Click on "Shifts Rules" to expand the options.
Click on "Shift Custom Variables"
Click on "New Variable"
Fill in the required fields and save.
Name: The unique identifier for the custom variable.
Description: A detailed explanation of what the custom variable represents or how it will be used.
Data Type: Specifies the type of data the variable will store.
