How to Configure Meeting Types and Schedule a New Meeting.

Purpose: This article is to assist users in configuring meeting types and creating scheduled meetings by completing the required meeting information, selecting biometric requirements, adding attendees, and saving the meeting successfully.

Follow these steps to configure meeting types and schedule meetings that require biometric sign-in.

  1. Open the Meetings app (Click link). Navigate to the Meeting Type section.

  2. Click the plus (+) icon in the top-right corner of the Meeting Types screen to add or set up the meeting type information.

  3. Fill in the Meeting Type Name and select the appropriate Event Type. Then, choose the preferred Biometric Requirement from the dropdown list.

    Tip: Tick the “Is Meeting Active” checkbox, then click Save to store the meeting type information.

  4. After saving the meeting type, navigate back to the Home screen. Then click New Meeting to start creating a new meeting.

  5. Fill in the New Meeting details and ensure that all mandatory fields,marked with a red asterisk (*), such as Meeting Name, Start Time, End Time, Facilitator, and Meeting Type, are completed.

  6. If the selected Meeting Type has a Biometric Requirement set to Default for Employees or Default for Employees and Guests, scroll to the bottom of the New Meeting screen.

    Under Biometric Requirement, select the option that best suits the meeting facilitator and meeting requirements. For meeting types that do not require biometric changes, this field will be deactivated.

  7. After adding the required Attendees, review the meeting details to ensure everything is correct.

    Then click Create Meeting at the bottom of the screen. The meeting will be saved and scheduled successfully.

  8. After the meeting has been created, you can use the Sign-In app to sign-in to the meeting using biometrics.
