Configure Outpatient Home Screen Tiles Using MedicalConfig

Purpose: This article explains how to configure which tiles are displayed on the Outpatient app home screen using the Luvelo MedicalConfig application.

Open Luvelo MedicalConfig

  • Open the Luvelo MedicalConfig application.

  • Confirm that the left-side navigation menu is visible.


Navigate to the Check In configuration area

  • On the left menu bar, locate Check In.

  • Click Check In to expand the available configuration options.

The Check In menu should expand and display several related configuration options.


Open Outpatient Files

  • Under the expanded Check In menu, scroll through the available options.

  • Locate Outpatient Files.

  • Click Outpatient Files.

After clicking Outpatient Files, the Outpatient Tiles Configuration screen opens on the right side of the Medical Config application.


Open the Outpatient Tiles Configuration editor

  • On the Outpatient Tiles Configuration screen, go to the top-right area of the screen.

  • Click the Outpatient Tiles Configuration button.

A configuration panel or modal opens, displaying the list of available Outpatient tiles with checkboxes.


Review the available tile options

The Outpatient Tiles Configuration panel contains tile labels that correspond to tiles shown in the Outpatient app.

Each tile has a checkbox:

  • A checked checkbox means the tile is enabled and should display on the Outpatient home screen.

  • An unchecked checkbox means the tile is disabled and should not display on the Outpatient home screen.

Examples of configurable tiles include:

  • Enable Tokens

  • Pharmacy Queue

  • Pending Lab Collection

  • Pending Lab Receipts

  • Pending Lab Results

  • Refresh Labs

  • Scheduled Surgeries

  • Completed Surgeries

  • Surgery Tab

  • Diagnostics

  • Diagnostic Orders

  • Patient Transport

  • Index Follow-Up

  • VIA or Prep Eligible

  • Requested Telehealth

  • Billing Management

  • Health Plan Codes

  • Med Quotations

The available tile list may vary depending on the environment, version, or configuration.


Select the tiles to display in Outpatient

  • Check the checkbox for each tile that must display on the Outpatient home screen.

  • Uncheck the checkbox for each tile that must be hidden from the Outpatient home screen.

Be careful to select only the tiles required for the user’s workflow or facility configuration.


Save the configuration

  • Scroll to the bottom of the Outpatient Tiles Configuration panel.

  • Click Save.

The configuration is saved, and the selected tiles should now be available for display in the Outpatient app.


Validation

After saving the configuration, verify the changes in the Outpatient app.

  • Open the Outpatient application.

  • Navigate to the Home screen.

  • Confirm that the enabled tiles are displayed.

  • Confirm that disabled tiles are no longer displayed.

  • If the tiles do not update immediately, refresh or sync the Outpatient app, then check again.
