How to Issue a Disciplinary Letter and Schedule a Hearing

Purpose: Learn how to issue a disciplinary letter and schedule a hearing in Luvelo HR, continuing the incident-handling process once an offense has been flagged.

Application Roles Required: HRIncident

Follow the steps on how to issue a disciplinary letter and schedule a hearing.

2. Click the "Incidents" tile.

3. Find and open the relevant incident.

4. Click on the Incident Person you want to issue the Disciplinary Letter to.

5. Click the relevant Offense.

Disciplinary Letter Signatures

6. Click "Personnel Signature."

7. Have the Incident Person sign before clicking "Save."

8. Click "Manager Signature" and have them sign too before clicking "Save."

9. Likewise, click "Witness Signature" and have the witness sign before clicking on "Save".

10. Once all signatures have been collected, you may click on "Preview Disciplinary Letter" to review the letter or "Download Signed Document" to share with the incident person.

Hearing Scheduling and Notification Signatures

11. Click "Schedule Hearing."

12. Once you've provided the necessary scheduling logistics and details, click "Save."

13.Click the arrow (>) on the Hearing tab to open the scheduled hearing.

14. Once opened, click the arrow (>) on the Notification of Hearing tab.

15. Click on "Personnel Signature" and have the Incident Person sign before clicking "Save."

16. Click "Manager Signature" and have them sign too before clicking "Save."

17. Likewise, click "Witness Signature" and have the witness sign before clicking on "Save."

18. Once all signatures have been collected, you may click on "Preview Notification Letter" to review the letter or "Download Signed Notification Letter" to share with the incident person.

19. Click on the arrow (<) to go back to the Hearing Detail screen.

20. As the hearing progresses, make sure to complete the remaining tabs as appropriate.
